A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy, #1)
I'm really torn about this book. There are parts I loved: the settings, the historical background, a lot of the characters. Unfortunately, I didn't like the central romance. Or the main characters. It started out ok, but then it made strange leaps, and the protagonist became increasingly less rational as the story progressed. It was starting to get interesting again toward the end, so I may consider picking up book 2. From the library.
